Thinning Shears

The thinning shears with hook is serrated on both blades.

The dual-surface special grind allows a particularly accurate work. Thinning scissors are suitable for thinning the coat and cut the tips to blend in.

The thinning shears are made in Germany of stainless steel and still ground by hand! Only special Solinger steel alloys of the best quality are used. The shears are nickel-free and thus antiallergenic. The elastic screw connection can be adjusted for the right tension and, if necessary, can be loosened by a specialist to re-sharpen the shears.

The handles are made of impact-resistant and heat-resistant plastic; the handles shape with hook and the inside ring of the shears are ergonomically designed so it fits your hand comfortably without slipping. Each shear is oiled by our manufacturer before dispatch and tested by hand for its cut.

You can easily clean the thinning shears with a little detergent and warm water. Please do not place it in the dishwasher. This could reduce the cutting performance. Should the cutting performance becomes dull after intensive use, you can have the thinning shears re-sharpened by a specialist.
