The Show Tech plastic wraps are particularly suitable for the leg area of dogs.
The advantage over wrapping paper is that your dog nibbles at paper rather than plastic. The plastic wraps can also be used much longer and are even lighter in weight, making them barely noticeable to the dog.
Matching the Show Tech wrapping paper also available in 7 beautiful colours. The plastic wraps are approx. 15 x 30 cm in size, acid and chlorine free. You can easily wash them after use and reuse them several times.
It is difficult to explain in just words how to wrap a dog’s coat, but there are numerous videos on the Internet. You have to be careful to divide the hair in sections, so that nothing pinches and chafes. We recommend the Efalock coat sectioning clips. With these colourful clips you can section the coat and work your way strand by strand. The plastic wraps are then closed with the Show Tech wrapping bands. It is best to always use 2 bands, if one breaks, the plastic wrap does not fall off immediately.
You don’t have to put any special care product on the hair before wrapping. After 1-2 days you take the plastic wraps off. Then generously mist the coat with a conditioning spray, e.g. Iv San Bernard Caviar Mix Nutritive, comb well, divide again into sections and re-wrap.
Only if the hair feels very dry we recommend adding a cream to the coat before wrapping it, e.g. Iv San Bernard K100 coconut palm oil coat wrapping cream.
Surely you won’t be able to wrap the whole coat in perfect packages straight away and your dog will also have to get used to the fact that his hair is wrapped, but practice makes perfect. Start as early as possible with about 6 months but only 1-2 wraps and increase weekly until your dog then looks like the dog in the product photo.
One package contains apx. 100 pieces of Show Tech plastic wraps.
