These puppy ID collars are especially for breeders.
There are many breeds where you can hardly distinguish the puppies, especially straight after the birth.
Equal colours, birth weight equal, perhaps even the same gender? This sometimes makes it difficult to separate, and yet it is particularly important, be it e.g. daily weighing, control of the navels or the deworming the pups. As a breeder we know the problem very well! Yes, these are 2 of our previous Maltese puppies on the small photo 🙂 These lovely colourful puppy ID collars can help.
Made of extra-thin, slightly shiny, 2 mm Paracord, a robust nylon material, 100% PES, with 2 sliding knots on the ends, they “grow” with the pups on average from birth to about the 4th week, depending on how fast your puppies grow. Normally at this point each breeder can keep his puppies apart without collars.
The size S has a diameter of approx. 3-6 cm, the size M can be adjusted by approx. 4-8 cm. In any case, you should control the collars at least once a day and always make them few mm larger.
Please also note that the head size must still fit through the collar, if you want to remove it. Alternatively, you can cut it carefully with rounded scissors, but then the collar will be useless.
If you buy 5 or more we offer the puppy ID collars for only 1.90 € / piece (VAT applicable in Germany).
Because we know how urgent the need for collars can be, we usually have some of each colour already made in stock, so we can send it to you the same day of your order. For larger quantities please contact us in advance, as these will be made only per your request. This is also possible within 2-3 days, depending on the availability of Paracord colours.
We ask for your understanding, that for hygienic reasons, the puppy collars are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Hygiene is extremely important in breeding and you as a breeder surely do not want to use any already used collars on new-born puppies. To prevent the Paracord band from tearing, the knotted ends are fused with a fire flame, resulting in a slight black colour at the ends. This is not a reason for return either.
Note that there may be colour deviations due to different screen settings. Product images © Daniela Krueger
